James Church
A Pittsburgh-based artist who has had a number of solo and group shows, most recently at Studio Z, AHA, Undercorft Gallery, One Mellon Bank Center, Gallery on 43rd, and Horizons. He runs PennGallery in Lawrenceville. The pieces in this exhibit explore a romantic notion of erotica. "I use images and objects that have a specific significance in telling a story. I am interested in the uncertain borderlines that exist between dream and reality, irony and madness, autobiography and fiction.
