Cheryl "Cat" Townsend is a Kent, Ohio-based photographer who has exhibited in a number of solo and group shows. She shoots with a 22-year-old Canon AE-1 and a Tamron 80-210mm lens. Townsend is also the owner of Cat's Impetuous Books and the Impecunious Art Gallery. She is a widely published poet of erotica and the founder of Implosion Press/Impetus magazine. She is also the president of the Women's Art Recognition Movement and vice president of the Stow Arts Society.
